Weekend Adventure

The adventure was an asshole germ infecting my sinuses the same day my mother, father, niece and nephew came to visit so I had to drug myself up for two days of trying not to puke and pass out in Boise. Also haven't been able to do anything crafting wise because 5 minutes of movements equals an hour of needing to lay down. A con went by this weekend but wasn't able to go because of the triple whammy of, no fund, family came to visit AND sickness! Yea I am ranting a little bit but I am just grumpy right now.
Reflecting on some things people have told me and I is hard for me to believe it. I've been told that I am their hero and they look up to me and when I think about it I don't get WHY??? My costumes are sub par at best, my skill is shitty, I am not popular, people don't care if I attend conventions or not and I never have been or ever will be a guest at any convention because I am not this great cosplayer people keep pegging me to be and in the 5 years I've been making and competing I've never once won first place in ANYTHING.
Yep still ranting but just so freaking pissy right now. Pissy, sick and freaking tired of people lying to me. GRRRRRRRR
